  • Marta BALLESTER, Avedis Donabedian Research Institute, Barcelona, Spain

     

    Marta Ballester is a project manager and researcher at AvedisDonabedian Research Institute (FAD) – Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Her area of expertise is integrated care, patient involvement & empowerment, and self-management. Currently, she is part of the team that coordinates COMPAR-EU, a Horizon 2020 project on the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of self-management interventions. She is also member of the consortium of the OECD initiative to support the creation of patient-reported indicators on Outcomes and Experiences of Patients with Chronic Conditions (PaRIS-SUR). She is member of the research group REDISSEC (Research Network in Health Services in Chronic Diseases Spain), a network of services research in chronic diseases funded by the RETICS program of the Carlos III Health Institute.
