|Dr. Katerina Mala-Ladova is Professor Assistant at the Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University, the Czech Republic. She completed her studies of Pharmacy (MSc.) and doctoral study in Clinical and Social Pharmacy (PhD; PharmD) at the same faculty. She received specialized qualification diploma in Clinical Pharmacy as well as Community Pharmacy. Research projects are focused especially on medication adherence in chronically treated patients in which she collaborates in several national and international projects, analyses of drug-related problems in different health facilities, and improvement and implementation of pharmaceutical care in the Czech healthcare system. Teaching activities are related to pharmaceutical care, clinical pharmacy, professional drug information, and pharmacoepidemiology. She is a board member of Drug Information Centre of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove and a vice-chair of Education Committee of European Society of Clinical Pharmacy.
