| Francisca Leiva, MD, MSc, PhD is a family doctor and professor at the Multiprofesional Teaching Unit of Community and Family Care Primary Care District Málaga-Guadalhorce, and a collaborating professor at the University of Malaga, Spain. Her research focus mainly on patient-reported and health outcomes: adherence to treatment, quality of life, patient preferences, polypharmacy in patients with chronic diseases (diabetes mellitus, COPD, hypertension) and multimorbidity. She is currently part of the Advisory Committee of the Andalusian Health Service Research Improvement Program, the Respiratory Group of the Andalusian Society of Family and Community Medicine and the Research Network on Health Services in Chronic Diseases. |
