Senior Researcher in Health Psychology and Health Services Research at University Lyon 1. Her main research focus is on data-driven approaches to integrated person-centered care and improving management of chronic conditions via collaborative care and patient empowerment. Her research on medication adherence adopts diverse quantitative and qualitative methodologies and mixed-methods approaches, and numerous perspectives from individual-level (e.g. health behaviour change, health literacy, self-management) to healthcare professional and system-level (e.g. collaborative care, quality of care). She has been teaching health behaviour change, research methods and applied statistics to various audiences, and has supervised PhD students and postdoctoral researchers on these topics. Since 2021, she is member of the French National Universities Council as University Professor. Her current research focus is on technology-based solutions, patient-provider interactions and organizational change, therefore she has conducted research on medication adherence and more broadly health behaviour change in conditions such as asthma, HIV, cancer, stroke, pain, as well as on primary and secondary prevention. Moreover, she is one of the developers of the R package AdhereR for estimating medication adherence from electronic healthcare data, and has developed and/or validated several self-report questionnaires in the area of adherence and more broadly self-management of chronic conditions. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Society for Medication Adherence (ESPACOMP). |
