Behaviour change content of the intervention (e.g. what adherence barriers and facilitators are targeted, what behaviour change techniques it includes):
Mymemo pill dispenser – Mymemo uses light and sound to alert the patient when it’s time to take the medication. MymemoAPP – push notification and alarms will be sent so remote caregiver can track whether the user takes their medications on time or if a technical issue has appeared. Development and evaluation
Brief description of how the technology has been developed and evaluated (e.g. transparency, theory and evidence base, context compatibility, co-creation, scientific evaluation, etc.):
Realizing that millions of people, all over the world have difficulty REMEMBERING to take their medicines, we optimized and personalized patient treatment and monitoring through an innovative device that facilitate the medication intake. We’ve designed Mymemo with great care to be a device that doesn’t look like a medical one. We’ve also designed a complete System for the patients and their caregivers, and not just a stand-alone APP or a simple reminder. i. As medical doctors, we have closely examined all indication resulting from clinical trials, and data gained by centres following patients with chronic conditions, to optimize them in a new model of management – Mymemo System. ii.As medical doctors, we wished to – 1)eradicate the shortcoming that each model has brought about over the years. 2)optimize adherence to oral therapies in patients with chronic disease. 3)optimize therapy compliance. 4)prevent patients from failing to take their medications or getting the wrong dosage. 5)help caregivers, doctors and centres following patients with chronic conditions to manage their patients. 6)provide constant supervision and remote care to those on chronic therapy, elderly etc.
