Brief description:
Medose is an electronic monitoring device which detects when a dose is extracted in real-time. Medose can be adapted to numerous dosing regimens and comfortably measures 28 doses. The cavities of the dose packages are either filled in automated machines by the pharmacy or CMO (Contract manufacturing organisation) or can be filled manually. Through Medose’s integrated roaming SIM card and cellular network, data is transferred in real-time wherever the device is located. Medose is so far mainly used with patients connected to pharmacies, elderly care and patient support to monitor medication adherence. The software connected to Medose could also be used as a standalone mobile application and is today individualized for where Medose is used.
